With the temperatures rising the wardrobe changes, and this morning I decided to go for a pair of jeans I hardly wear. Because I had to grab it from the “hidden” stack of jeans, I suddenly held my skinny jeans in my hands. Alright. I didn’t fit into them since probably 1 1/2 years. I decided I was strong enough to give it another try. And … they fit. Not only just barely. They fit perfectly. Oh boy. That just made my day!
Two years ago I started rock climbing, last year I went for wake surfing and diving, and this year I return to a classic. Actually it brings nothing completely new, but the magic – as I’ve been told – lies in the mix: triathlon.
To make it official (meaning force myself to get on training for the events) I already enrollend in two triathlons: Zuerich and Uster.
Equipment wise a third pair of Ascics Nimus are ordered from my favorite shoe dealer. The swimming stuff has been de-dusted. Went swimming a week ago and surprisingly it still works… Then comes the tricky stuff. I’ll get a new bike, but so far I haven’t been much of a racing biker. Wonder about a helmet and padded pants!?!
Two days ago a personal musical dream came true: I got two tickets for the Depeche Mode concert on 6. December at the Hallenstadion. I hope it gets as mind blowing as the Dave Gahan concert some years back.
So this year is filled with concerts.
Already went to see Seven, The Script, and Nightwish. In a couple of weeks there is Snow Patrol followed by Tarja, Linkin Park, Pink, and Depeche Mode. So actually to finalize the whole line up a Placebo concert (not an open air, please) would be nice, but actually I’m already quite happy that they’ve found a new band member, and are releasing a new record soon.
